Good morning FIT FAM!! HAPPY MONDAY
Hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween weekend!!! First time in a few years I didn’t go out… been fighting a cold so I asked myself if a night out was worth it… nope! 🤣
So let’s get right to it!
It’s about to be NOVEMBER!! Where oh where did this year go?!! I asked myself that the other day while shopping at Target… I actually picked up a few Xmas gifts!! I know!!! Say whaaaattt!!??? I might actually get my shopping done before the week of! Lol but for real! How many people do we see on social media that seem to “have it all together”?! Be it from life goals, couple goals or body goals?? And think, “I’ll never be like them or be able to do that!”
Sometimes our minds can play tricks on us, and we fail before we even begin! Because we simply thought we couldn’t do it!
Buddha said, “All that we are is the result of what we have thought.” In other words, we can only achieve what we believe.
I’ve recently talked on here about Motivation and Inspiration… and I can’t stress either one enough! Keeping yourself aligned with people, places and things that push you in a positive direction!! Here are three really good tips I read the other day in my favorite magazine @strongfitness
1. FAKE IT ‘TIL YOU MAKE IT!
Love this one… Tell yourself you can do something, even if you don’t quite believe it. Repeat it to yourself again and again until you believe it’s true!
2. VISUALIZE
Guys this ones by far a Must!!
I literally visualize everything, not just in fitness! My work day ahead, a talk I have to give, the goal I want to achieve. I replay how I want that particular event or day to go over and over in my head. I set myself up so I am prepared with how ever it goes!
3. FIND YOUR TRIBE
Don’t try to take on the world alone. Surround yourself with people who believe in you, want nothing but the best for you, and will remind you to get out of your own head and realize how awesome you are.
