Happy Monday Fitfam!! Hope everyone is ready for a productive week!! I know I am!! At least that’s what I tell myself every Monday! I try to hit the reset button EVERY Monday to ensure I have a great week! Regardless of the weekend or past week!
So, here’s a question I get asked quite often, how do I stay motivated?! It’s generally in regards to fitness. (Being able to juggle a full-time job, traveling some for work and being a mom!). For me, motivation is something that comes and goes. It’s more my habits that keep me on track and able to eat right get my workouts in, even when I don’t feel “motivated”! It’s easier I find to set mini goals, like a vacation or wedding. Nothing better than having a short-term date in sight that you want to look and feel good for right! So, what do I do if there isn’t anything planned, well I plan something!! Lol like a family photo shoot or maybe a special photo shoot for myself!! Maybe you’ve wanted or needed some new gym gear! I’ll make a bet with myself to drop 3lbs or stick to spin class two times a week for a month…and THEN I will treat myself!! Rather than treat myself with food!!!
Trust me once you get started and start seeing real results from sticking to a good diet and exercise you will be hooked. You will “feel” more like sticking with it!! Find a reliable work out buddy or meal prep service you can use to help make it easier! I’m all about convenience these days! The Holidays are coming soon, better to be prepared then to over indulge and gain 10lbs!! Get a plan and stick with it!!
